Terms & Conditions
Welcome to The Curated Compass. By using our website and booking services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Our Role
The Curated Compass (“we,” “our,” “us”) acts as a travel consultant and booking agent. We arrange travel services on your behalf through third-party suppliers such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation companies (“Suppliers”).
We do not own, operate, or control these Suppliers. Therefore, we are not responsible for their acts, errors, omissions, warranties, or negligence.
2. Booking & Payments
A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on Supplier policies.
Final payment deadlines vary by Supplier and must be received by the stated due date.
Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.
3. Planning/Service Fees
We may charge professional planning or service fees for research, itinerary design, and support.
These fees are non-refundable, even if you choose not to book a trip.
Supplier costs (flights, hotels, cruises, tours, etc.) are separate from our planning fees.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies are determined by the Supplier. We will provide you with the applicable terms before booking.
Refunds, if applicable, will be issued according to Supplier rules and may be subject to penalties.
Our planning/service fees are non-refundable.
5. Changes to Itinerary
Changes after booking may incur additional fees from Suppliers or from us.
We will assist with modifications whenever possible, but availability is not guaranteed.
6. Travel Documents & Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid passports, visas, health documents, and any other required travel documents.
We are not liable for denied boarding, entry, or other issues resulting from improper documentation.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events.
Declining travel insurance means you assume full responsibility for any financial losses.
8. Health & Safety
You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically and physically fit for travel.
We are not liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or death that occur during travel.
Please review the latest government advisories for your destination before booking.
